For the second year in a row, Copa Airlines, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings SA and member of the global Star Alliance network, heads the list of Latin American airlines recommended by the American magazine Money, of the Time Inc. group. This recognition is the result of the analysis carried out by this prestigious American media which took into consideration costs, rates, customer experience and flight performance of more than 70 major international airlines.

For Copa Airlines CEO Pedro Heilbron, "being recognized by Money magazine as one of the best airlines in the world and the best in Latin America is the result of the work, dedication and commitment of the entire Copa Airlines team, which every day shows that in Panama and Latin America we can be among the best in the world."

On April’s edition, the US magazine highlighted that Copa Airlines is "famous for its reliability", highlighting its high rate of punctuality that was recently recognized by the OAG in London as the best in the world in 2018, while considered it "the best airline in Latin America in terms of value". According to the figures provided by OAG, after analyzing 57 million flight records made by 250 airlines, between January 1 and December 31, 2018, Copa Airlines recorded the highest rate of punctuality in the industry at a global level, with 89.79%, becoming the first Latin American airline in history to receive this important recognition.

In addition to the OAG, FlightStats also distinguished Copa Airlines as "the most punctual airline in Latin America" for the sixth consecutive year, ratifying that punctuality is a hallmark of the airline, an aspect valued by international organizations and, especially, by passengers. Currently, Copa Airlines operates an average of 350 daily flights through the Hub of the Americas from where connects 81 cities in 33 countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean.
