The Wallace is founded on the long-standing ubiquitous British pubs, where family and friends gather for a hot lunch or dinner, a pint of beer or a wee dram of whisky.
Gorse green walls, red tartan tablecloths, stag heads, and legendary William Wallace paraphernalia come together to create a cozy and friendly atmosphere in this one-of-a-kind restaurant in the heart of Panama.
This restaurant offers not just Scottish delights, but British fare in general, which includes the most delicious Fish & Chips (of course with mushy peas), Bangers and Mash with creamy onion gravy, and Cottage Pie, a heart-warming staple from the old country. Come for the Whisky Wings and stick around for the Sticky Toffee Pudding! A good selection of craft beers is available as well as an excellent array of single malt whiskies.
The Wallace’s success is thanks to their great team that is always working hard to offer the best experience to the clients.
Francia Elena is from Valle del Cauca, Colombia. This talented woman began her culinary career training with an Irish Chef. She enjoys swimming, shopping, and spending time with her two beautiful daughters.
Jaime is from Chriquí, Panama. When he’s not working hard as the head of our kitchen, he enjoys exploring the different parts of our beautiful country with his daughter, from the mountains to the beaches and campgrounds. In addition to his culinary studies, he has a background in tourism and is fully bilingual.
Maxiris is from Panama City, Panama. What makes her such a great bartender is her ability to really listen to and connect with customers. When she isn´t working she is studying to be a psychologist and if she ever has free time, she enjoys watching a good Zombie flick.
Candelario “Candela” is from Panama City, Panama. He started his career as an electrician but decided he would rather be around people, so 36 years ago he became a waiter and hasn’t looked back since!
