Panama’s Pacific Coast offers about 60 kilometers of paradisiacal beaches, located less than 2 hours from Panama City. Its gold sand beaches are frequently visited all year round by locals and international tourists in search of a relaxing and sunny weekend at the beach.

Coronado is the nearest town, just one hour away from the capital, where a lot of modern tourist centers have been built in the last years. These hotels are fitted with all kind of comforts and attractions such as excellent restaurants, exclusive shops, banks, golf links, countless aquatic activities and horse-ride tours along the huge beaches.

Nearby, there is the country’s kitesurf capital, Punta Chame; the lovely small town of Gorgona, located in front of a black-sand beach; and El Palmar beach, ideal for surfing. Towards the Province of Coclé, there are two close beaches named Playa Blanca and Farallón, separated by the Farallón River. From here, it is possible to visit El Valle, a small mountain town surrounded by forests, rich in fauna and flora, with the famous golden frog and wonderful orchids. On the way to the beach, you can always stay at Castillo de Kevin and be treated like a king and enjoy the amazing views!
